At  Prevent T2 Diabetes, our mission is to raise awareness about diabetes prevention through education. Type 2 (T2) diabetes is considered a ‘lifestyle’ disease and is the most common form of diabetes, affecting 85-90% of all sufferers. While the disease is commonly associated with mature age, reports show that a greater number of young people are being diagnosed with T2 diabetes as the rate of obesity increases globally.

Through our blog we hope to provide young Australians with information on how to reduce their risks of developing chronic illnesses like T2 diabetes through simple lifestyle changes, as well as providing tips to anyone affected by T2 on how to manage the condition.

At Prevent T2 Diabetes, we urge you to join the fight against T2 diabetes through education so please help us spread the word!
